My path in life has been direct

As a child, my parents nurtured my curiosity and passions by providing tools and encouraging exploration.
2.
I embraced scouting, became an Eagle Scout, and developed leadership skills through community service and advocacy.
3.
After dropping out of college twice, I learned to adapt and grow by diving into tech support and systems administration roles.
4.
In 2008, I co-founded BetaNYC, a public interest tech nonprofit dedicated to leveraging data and technology for civic good.
5.
Our efforts helped pass New York City’s Open Data Law, transforming government transparency and accessibility.
6.
We created “The People's Roadmap,” outlining policy ideas to improve digital literacy and civic engagement in New York City.
7.
Through BetaNYC, I continue to build inclusive communities, championing technology for equity and public benefit.
