My path in life took a while to figure out

Got a degree in Education with a Journalism major.

Taught high school English and journalism for 2 years.

Worked for a daily newspaper for a year.
4.
Started a family, had five kids.

Became very interested in kids' schools.

Ran for School board and lost.
7.
Ran again and won.
8.
Ran for City Council and won.

How I responded:
If you feel in your heart you should teach, then by all means, teach. The work is very hard and the pay not so good, but it is very rewarding to make a difference in someone else's life as a teacher.
