My path in life took a while to figure out

I volunteered and interned for several nonprofit organizations in college.

However, first job was in Advertising and decided the corporate world was not for me.
3.
I then started volunteering again in nonprofit organizations to gain experience in the job i wanted.
4.
I then applied for nonprofit organizations whose focus is education and I got a job.

I should major in a major that will give me great monetary returns back, such as the sciences or business.
How I responded:
My first job was in advertising and I disliked the corporate environment in which some people thrive on. Making money is not my first priority. It is nice to have a good salary but at the end of the day, I want to go home and reflect back on my job and say "I made a small difference in the world today. I am truly happy."
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
Being the first person in your family to go to college can put stress on you. I sought mentors and relied on friends to get me through my downs and ups.
