Life & Career Milestones

My path in life has been direct

  • 1.

Starting a career at a very young age and sticking with the same industry was a challenge in the sense that I was concerned if I was taking the easy way out instead of exploring options.

  • 2.

Studying abroad was great because it broadened my options, but made it more difficult to decide if I was on the right course.

Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Friends:

Insurance is boring, you won't be happy because you aren't going to experience new challenges or continue to learn.

  • How I responded:

I find my job to be interesting, challenging and rewarding. I have continued to learn during my 10+ year career in the insurance industry and it is the reason why I have remained in this role for this duration. Continued learning is incredibly important to me, and I find this is fulfilled on a regular basis.
